From two cabochon jade rings, a simple yet elegant jade pendant
A customer had two oval cabochon jade rings she had inherited from her mother, which she wanted redesigned into something simple for everyday wear. I had the two pieces of jade tested at a lab, which showed the jade was natural "type A" Burmese Jadeite (the most valuable type of jade). Pictured here is the final design she selected after being presented with several options. CASES

Diamond earrings and an old lace diamond ring transformed for the perfect wedding
A bride-to-be wanted a new look for two sets of yellow gold jewellery for her upcoming wedding and that would also be suitable for daily wear. I saw that her ring could be divided into two sets of white gold diamond earrings in a more sophisticated marquise shape. I also recommended adding a pair of white South Sea pearls as the drops for her wedding gown. Now she can wear the diamond studs and diamond marquise with the white South Sea pearls or just the white gold diamond studs alone. CASES

A young lady came to me with two sets of jewellery, which she thought were rather small and tired looking. Since she had purchased jewellery from JADE LIFE before, I remembered that she loved heart shapes, so I incorporated the diamonds inside four heart shapes to form a four-leaf clover. CASES

Rejuvenating an oval cabochon green jade ring and earrings
One of my customers had grown tired of her beautiful apple green jade cabochon earring and ring set, which was arranged in a traditional design. I asked whether she would like to add a new gemstone — as blue is her favourite colour, she decided on sapphires. Although this combination of apple green jade and blue sapphires is new, she trusted us to go ahead to create a piece that is truly original. CASES

A dazzling new setting from small diamonds, perfect for casual wear
A customer had a collection of small diamond jewellery that she no longer wore because of their small size. She asked whether I could design a new ring for her daughter. I came up with several design ideas, from simple to elaborate, including a crown ring for her to choose from. Her daughter decided on a simple shape as she thought it would be the most appropriate for everyday wear. CASES
